Sasha Gordon is a Russian-born award-winning writer/director and composer.
While majoring in music and visual arts at Brown University, Sasha became a prolific composer for stage and film, and won numerous competitions as a concert pianist.
Sasha went on to pursue a masters degree at the Mannes Conservatory of music in piano and composition, and a second masters degree at NYU's TISCH school of the arts in filmmaking.
Sasha has scored over 50 narrative and documentary films, including Academy Award Winner, God of Love, and Academy Award Winner, Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone. Sasha has also scored multiple TV series, among them Amazon’s Emmy-winning Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street. Most recently, Sasha's work on Apple's Emmy-winning Ghostwriter earned her an Emmy nomination for best original music.
Sasha has also written and directed several films that have won accolades at Sundance, Telluride, Tribeca, and SXSW, garnering international attention and distribution.
